Hsing-Ying Tseng (MoMo Tseng) who holds a master’s degree in Department of Motion Picture from National Taiwan University of Art is an independent movie director.My studies focuses on" Acting on camera " and the language of film.Production has mainly been feature films, short films and some docudramas. I believe in the complementarity relationship between film production and theory, and puts such concept into my movies.

I also make effort to keep old memory, old buildings through feature film , short film or documentary .

Tseng’s TV movie “The 31st Kau Cim” was nominated for both best director and best TV movie for the Golden Bell Awards, Taiwan.More than 30 film screening and forum discussions of the short film “Diabetic Father” in Taiwan. Production has mainly been feature films, some docudramas.In 2020 , her movie “The Old Street” and documentary “Yilan , a Taste of Home “ got award from international film festival .

我的生命被無數個故事啟發,也想藉由電影說故事去啟發另一個人    ---  曾馨瑩MoMo導演

 

當我傾聽或思索故事與事件時,感性的人情溫度與各種人與事、人與物之間淵遠流長的曖昧韻味及細膩的情愫、記憶、時空,總能打動我內心深處,使我想醞釀出一種清澀的、微溫的、淺甜的及回甘的電影與他人分享,並希望讓某一個角落的故事穿過銀幕來鼓勵世界另一端的人們。

 

 

我期許透過電影使觀眾在冰冷與孤單的環境中增溫,並致力使用電影來描述與在人與人之間、人與大環境之間當中那些無形的卻動人且細緻的瞬間與氛圍。致力於將溫度與鼓舞人心的氣味放入電影敘事當中,並透過影像陪伴觀眾,啟發每一個看電影的人。

學生時代之畢業短片《我等,下一班車》曾入圍北京電影學院國際影展,

並受邀於北京電影學院與全球影人放映交流。

 

長片電視電影《第三十一首籤》入圍金鐘獎迷你劇集電視電影獎與最佳導演獎。

 

電影短片《糖化老爸》在台灣邀請放映座談超過三十場次。

近年來以膠卷八毫米拍攝之劇情短片《The Old Street 歸屬》受到歐洲許多非主流的獨立影展肯定。2018年獲得德國WomenCineMakers線上雜誌訪問,成為當年全球受訪的十一位女影人之一,

2020年獲選烏克蘭 Кіномаршрут Cinemaway Film Festival /

КУЛЬТУРНА СПАДЩИНА/CULTURE HERITAGE  Program 文化遺產的電影影展項目。

2020年獲得賽爾維亞新世代影展的實驗紀錄短片獎。 

 

2019年前往日本鳥取並與若桜鐵道當地居民建立關係,拍攝因幡船岡火車站的故事。

2020年因為新冠疫情延後拍攝

 

2018年拍攝紀錄片《宜蘭在遠方》

2020年11月獲得日本東洋觀光短片映畫祭從2675部電影中脫穎而出成為最優秀作品大賞

2020年12月獲得塞爾維亞新世代影展榮譽優選獎

2021年於台北101舉辦國際影展獲獎後特映會

 

 

目前正持續創作電影長片與短片的劇本,並尋找開發與製作。

認為製作電影與電影理論、美學與電影史是相輔相成的,

期許自己成為實務與論述並進並用的電影導演。
